Lorato Trok is an award winning South African Author and Managing Editor at Puku Children’s Literature Foundation. She will be reading from her book, Rosina Sedibane Modiba: A Dream Denied during the 2nd edition of Heroe Book Fair.
The book tells the story of Rosina Sedibane Modiba, one of South Africa’s finest track and field athletes of the 70s, who overcame all odds to pursue her career in a sport she excelled in, when it was illegal for a black person to compete against white people in apartheid South Africa.
